Our Spray Booth

Global Concept Cure Ultra 2000booth

Anchor Auto Body has invested in Global Finishing Solution's Ultra 2000 downdraft spray booth, which has become the standard by which all other dual-skin booths are judged, and with good reason. With literally thousands of Ultra booths in daily operation all over the world, the Ultra downdraft is GFS's most popular paint booth. Since the addition of this booth, we have seen a reduction in repair times and better vehicle finishes with less dust and better texture.  Some of the booth's features include exclusive CAF Controlled Air Flow ceiling design, high-efficiency Ultra heat system, and optional equipment such as VFD's and AdvanceCure.

How Does It Work?

By using the Ultra 2000 to refinish your vehicle we are improving both the quality of the repair and the timeliness of it's completion.  Traditional solvent-based paint is dried by extreme heat, while water-based paint is dried by airflow.  The Ultra 2000 is equipped to handle both.  The downdraft feature is essential to fast and efficient refinishing with water-based paint, while the direct fire heating system can cure solvent based paint in half the time of traditional booths.

The GFS Ultra 2000 uses full downdraft airflow during spray and curing cycles through a patented Controlled Air Flow ceiling with integrated angled light fixtures.  Key features include:

v Main flow zone concentrates airflow in the spray booth in a protective curtain around the car
v Main flow zone effectively removes overspray
v Side flow zones circulate air away from the walls and lights
